Product Overview
The ultra-precision single-point diamond turning machine (UP-turning machine) MTC 250 (Micro Turning Center) features a lightweight construction with moving parts, enabling dynamic mode operation (slow tooling). This standard machine offers a minimal footprint with 250 mm travel in both X- and Z-axes and a machining range up to 500 mm in diameter.
The MTC 250 utilizes a T-shaped natural granite bed, with X- and Z-axis guides and spindle housing also constructed from granite. Both guides and the optional B-axis employ hydrostatic (oil) bearings, while the spindle uses air bearings and is mounted on the X-axis guide.
